20 Photos to Inspire You to Visit Utah

Utah is one of the most spectacular states with a diverse landscape. Northern Utah has beautiful snow-capped mountains, and southern Utah has red rocks and desert. Although all five of Utah’s national parks are in the south, they also have a diverse landscape. Although they are all within hours of each other, each one is very different (in a beautiful way) from the other.

Fun Facts:

Arches National Park contains the highest density of natural arches in the WORLD with over 2,000 natural stone arches! Arches National Park is also home to the fifth-largest natural arch in the world, Landscape Arch!
Canyonlands National Park is Utah’s largest national park spanning over 337,000 acres!
Although many people overlook Capitol Reef National Park, it is the second-largest national park in Utah spanning over 241,900 acres!
Although Bryce Canyon National Park is Utah’s smallest national park, it has the largest amount of hoodoos in the WORLD! And on clear days, you can see for over 100 miles when looking out from Bryce Canyon National Park.
Zion National Park is Utah’s first national park being established in 1919! Zion National Park is also home to the sixth-largest arch in the world, Kolob Arch!

Alex and I traveled to Utah in June 2019 for an epic week-long road trip through all of the national parks: Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park. We fell in love with each park because of the epicness and beauty each one offered. Arches National Park has the most EPIC rock structures and arches. Canyonlands National Park has one of the most beautiful views overlooking miles of canyons. Capitol Reef National Park offers underrated beautiful canyon views. Bryce Canyon National Park has beautiful rock formations called hoodoos that you can get up close and personal with. And last but definitely not least, Zion National Park offers beautiful views everywhere you go and some of the best hiking trails. All five of Utah’s National Parks have something for everyone!
