Many moons ago I hiked Mt. Monadnock (big surprise there, I know, since everyone hiked it). Reaching the summit and taking in the views was exhilarating! This was where my passion for hiking began. I hiked Mt. Monadnock a billion times for years because it was close and something I was familiar with. However, in 2012 I began to explore the White Mountains and fell in LOVE. I mean… how can you not fall in love with those views? Yeah, they aren’t super tall mountains, but they are beautiful!
I began hiking random trails without having a goal in mind until I came across the 48 4,000-Footer List in 2015. *Cue angels singing*. I immediately decided I needed this in my life. Luckily enough, I met the love of my life in the same year and bestowed him with the great honor of being my forever hiking partner. I have been dragging him up mountains ever since! Alex is an AMAZING photographer, so I use some of his photos in my posts along with mine.
This is my journey to conquer the hiking lists of New England! If you have recommendations or questions, please feel free to comment on any of the blog posts or message me!
